We want you to love your Thankful Swimwear pieces, so we have a 30-day return policy. This means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return for a store credit or full refund.

We, unfortunately, cannot refund items for change of mind, so we encourage you to really consider if these swimwear pieces are something you want and need.
We know this goes without saying, but for hygienic reasons, it’s a must to keep your underwear on and keep hygiene labels intact when trying on your swimwear.
Lodge a return
If you decide that the fit or style still doesn’t sit right, send a return request at hello@thankfulswimwear.com with your order number and reason for return.
Please note that swimwear pieces not giving you the wings to fly to remote beaches or enabling a free cocktail at the bar will not be viewed as a legitimate reason for a refund.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Return condition
To be eligible for a return, your swimwear pieces must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with attached hygiene labels, and in its original packaging.
Due to health regulations, and just good ol’ hygienic habits, any swimwear pieces that are soiled, marked, worn, washed, ironed or damaged will not be accepted. This means any make-up stains, tanning products, excessive hair or anything that would make it unsuitable for someone else to wear can be refused for return.
Return shipping costs
We recommend that you return the garments using a trackable shipping service with insurance, and that you pre-pay all postage. Since we’re a small business, we unfortunately cannot cover these costs for you and Thankful Swimwear will not be responsible for any items lost or missing through Australia Post, Sendle or any other courier service.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges at this point in time. If you would like an alternative size or style, please send us an email with a request for store credit and place a new order.
Alternatively, if you’d like to make sure that you don’t miss out on your size in the desired swimsuit piece, we recommend placing a new order for the size/style you need as soon as possible.
You can then submit a return request for your initial purchase and we’ll refund you the costs of the item. Please note we do not refund original shipping costs.
Faulty items
All of our designs are made with care and are inspected before they’re sent to you to ensure that only the highest quality swimsuits arrive at your doorstep.
In the unlikely event that you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a short description of the issues.
We’ll then make sure to evaluate the issue & make it right as soon as possible.
